Nutcracker Cost : $400
Nutcracker Weekend:
Friday, Dec 11 - Sunday, Dec 13, 2026 at SVAC
Audition Date: September 12 at the SVB studio, 138 Spruce St, Manchester, VT.
Everyone gets a role! Age 5/Ballet 1 and up. Please wear ballet/dance attire.
1pm: Ballet 1, 2, 3, 4 and Rhythm and Pop 1
2:15pm: Ballet 5, 6, 7 and Rhythm and Pop 2/Lyrical 1/Modern 1
3:30pm: Ballet 8, 9/10 and Jr/Sr, Lyrical 2, Teen Jazz and Modern 2
Dancers will rehearse every Saturday and/or Sunday from September 19- December 12.
They must be present all all rehearsals (please let us know if you will be missing a weekend). Older dancers may have rehearsals after classes on Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday evenings. Dancers MUST be enrolled in an SVB dance class to participate in Nutcracker.
The cast list and schedule will go out Tuesday, September 15. We ask that you please do not request roles for your dancer.

This year we we had our very first live Nutcracker Performance! The dancers worked so hard and did a wonderful job. We hope you enjoy the show!

Thank you to everyone who made Southern Vermont Ballet’s Nutcracker performance a reality! Thank you to The Southern Vermont Arts Center, our wonderful SVB teachers, dancers and parents. We are so incredibly grateful for the hard work and passion that went in to this year’s show.
